About the Macquarie Code and Procedure

A revised Macquarie Research Code and a new Macquarie Research Code Procedure were authorised and approved in July 2019.

These documents are consistent with the new Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research 2018 and a new Guide to Managing and Investigating Potential Breaches of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research 2018, issued by the Australian Research Council (ARC), National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and Universities Australia.

Procedural standards and key related policies

Researchers must abide by all University policies and standards that apply to their research.

Macquarie University Standards

Macquarie has developed the following standards. The NHMRC and ARC will progressively release updated guidelines on these standards. Macquarie University documents and procedures will be revised accordingly.
