Educational media production
A small dedicated educational media production team in the Learning Innovation Hub (LIH) focuses on supporting initiatives that enhance learning and teaching experiences for the university community. The team:
- supports the development of educational media and other learning and teaching resources,
- loans equipment for DIY media production for learning and teaching use, and
- provides consultation, training and guidance in approaches to media production.
The educational media production team provides support across the university community, however if you are a faculty representative, please consult your Faculty Learning and Teaching teams as a first point of contact for pedagogical guidance before you submit a request to the LIH.
If you would like assistance with producing educational media, please submit a request. Please note that your submitted request is not a guarantee of support from the LIH, it will first be assessed by the team.
The stages of our production process are:
- Brief > What is the problem that needs solving, and why?
- Scoping > Determining the best approach and what level of support can be provided based on the context.
- Terms > Specifying timelines, milestones and deliverables.
- Production > Creating the deliverables.
- Delivery > Confirmation of the deliverables.
The following are ways in which the Learning Innovation Hub's educational media production team can provide support to the university community.
