There are many ways to receive help in using all the technologies available at Macquarie.
IT Service Desk
The IT service desk can support you with desktop and laptop support as well as help with general software support enquiries. There are various ways to contact the IT Service Desk.

Macquarie OneHelp is a university-wide online request system that allows users to log issues and requests and ask our staff for help. Submit a ticket via the OneHelp system.

There is also a specialist support team to help with issues using the various learning technologies used at Macquarie including, iLearn, iTeach, iShare, ECHO360, Turnitin and Voicethread. To raise a ticket direct to the iLearn Helpdesk, email email@example.com
Each faculty has Learning Designers who can come and give you advice on setting out and designing your unit. To schedule an appointment with your faculty Learning designer please email firstname.lastname@example.org
iLearn training and workshops
To help you navigate the iLearn system, Macquarie offers both online and face to face training sessions for staff. Run by the iLearn team, these sessions include:
iLearn basics - Learn the basics of navigation, communication and adding content in the iLearn system. This workshop is also offered online.
iLearn tools - Quick hands-on sessions to explore specific tools such as Turnitin, Quizzes, Assignments and Gradebook.
Teaching in iLearn for tutors - An overview of iLearn, how to assess student work online, moderate forums and make announcements.
We recommend attending the iLearn basics course if you are new to Macquarie.

iLearn Drop-in Clinic
The iLearn Drop-in Clinic runs for 3 weeks in the lead up to Session 1 and Session 2 each year where where help is on hand for all things iLearn and getting your unit ready for students.
The drop-in clinic is advertised through Teche with details of dates and opening times.
There are several types of AV technologies used in lecture theatres, classrooms and meeting rooms at Macquarie University. More information can be found on the AVTS website.
The AV team provide extra hands-on training before the start of every session to enable staff to use the Macquarie technology with confidence. We highly recommend staff take advantage of the training. If you need training outside the scheduled times, contact AVTS.
