Vice-Chancellor's awards for programs that enhance learning

These awards recognise and reward learning and teaching programs and support services that have made an outstanding contribution to the quality of student learning and the quality of the student experience.

There are six award categories that reflect and support priorities outlined in the Learning and Teaching strategic framework. Applicants must focus on one category in their application which will be determined by the nature of their contribution to student learning:

Connected curriculum

  • Innovation and flexibility in curricula, learning and teaching

Connected learning experience

  • Postgraduate education
  • Widening participation
  • Student experiences and services supporting learning, development and growth in higher education
  • Global citizenship and internationalisation.

Connected people

  • Educational partnerships and collaborations with other organisations.

Based on the panel's recommendations, the Vice-Chancellor will award up to five program awards each year. The winners will receive $5,000 and an award certificate. It is anticipated that awards will be distributed across the categories.
