To help you navigate the iLearn system, Macquarie offers both online and face to face training sessions for staff. Run by the iLearn team, these sessions include:
Learn the basics of navigation, communication and adding content in the iLearn system. This module is also offered online.
Quick hands-on sessions to explore specific tools such as Turnitin, Grademark, Quizzes, Assignments and Gradebook.
|Teaching in iLearn for tutors||An overview of iLearn, how to assess student work online, moderate forums and make announcements.|
The iLearn team also offers online training modules so that you can complete your training at your own pace. These modules include:
|Discover iLearn for convenors|
This module introduces you to the basic features and tools of iLearn, including navigation, content, resources and activities, as well as accessibility. It is designed for Convenors or Teaching staff.
|Discover iLearn for tutors|
This workshop provides an overview of iLearn, including how to access student work online, moderate forums and make announcements. It also includes an overview of Turnitin, Gradebook, Quizzes as well as student content and your profile settings.
Learn how to use the functions of Gradebook to manage student grades in your iLearn unit. Following this workshop, you will be able to view, add, edit, auto-calculate weightings, release and export grades using Gradebook.
Alternatively, you can customise your own training module. Simply submit a training enquiry with your faculty learning designer.
