AdvanceHE and HEA fellowships

AdvanceHE and HEA fellowships

AdvanceHE provides worldwide formal recognition of professional practice in higher education teaching and learning support. It awards Fellowships to academics, university educators, and higher education professionals.

An HEA Fellowship demonstrates your commitment to the profession of teaching, both in your discipline and in higher education. The fellowships are internationally recognised and portable, and include research education. Professional staff can also apply. HEA Fellows can use a post-nominal: AFHEA / FHEA / SFHEA / PFHEA.

HEA Fellowship is included in the criteria for academic promotion at Macquarie University.

Principal Fellowship (PFHEA) For highly experienced staff who have a sustained record of effective strategic leadership and responsibilities in academic practice and development at institutional or national levels.
