The Faculty of Human Sciences holds a distinctive place on the global stage, with four departments and several internationally acclaimed centres including the $21 million ARC Centre of Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders.

The faculty is home to hundreds of staff including eminent scholars of exceptional distinction who have made an outstanding contribution to their field and to Macquarie University.
We're proud of the ground-breaking research we're contributing to in linguistics, psychology, cognitive science and education.
Our staff and students are supported by several state-of-the-art facilities including the Australian Hearing H:ub. We work together to investigate and answer some of the big questions about what makes us human.
