Repairs and maintenance
Property is responsible for the upkeep of all buildings, grounds and service infrastructure on campus. We have a team of professionals to provide any preventative or corrective maintenance required.
This includes building fabric, electrical, essential safety provisions, fume extraction, waste disposal, cleaning, pest control, mechanical services, plumbing and hydraulic services.
Property do not have a qualified animal handler to deal with injured or orphaned animals on Campus but will assist if we have an available staff member onsite.
Report a problem or lodge a service request
There are three methods to lodge a ticket with property.
- BEIMS request – many staff across campus have access to our online service request system, BEIMS.
- Property service request form – fill in all the details on the form and your request goes directly to customer service who will raise a ticket in BEIMS on your behalf.
- Phone Customer Service on ext 7145 for a more personalised service and a ticket will be raised in BEIMS on your behalf.
After your problem or service request has been input into BEIMS, you will receive an email with the work order number and description of your request. You can use the work order number to follow up if needed.

Get access to BEIMS
If you frequently report maintenance issues, you are encouraged to seek access to the BEIMS system. This can be done by phoning Customer Service on ext 7145 or lodge a property service request form.
