FAQ - why aren’t my images and documents showing up?

Are you rattling your brains as to why your images and documents aren’t showing up on your webpage? You’ve attended the Squiz training, jotted down several notes and followed all the steps to uploading assets but your image just won’t appear?

We’ve had this question come up in almost all our fortnightly web drop-in sessions and, the answer is a lot simpler than you may expect.

Have you set your asset to the Approve and Make Live status?

Like all Squiz webpages, assets such as images and documents are set to “Under Construction” by default when they are first created.

Simply use the Asset Finder in the top right-hand corner to navigate to the image or document you wish to use.

Once you have selected your asset, under the Details tab, hit the drop-down box below Status and change this to Approve and Make Live.

Your image or document should appear once this turns from blue to green and the status is Live.
