About the Research Portal

Exciting changes are currently underway at Macquarie University.  Outdated systems are making way for a new Research Hub – one place for your research activities.

The Research Portal is Macquarie Universities new research information management system for researchers and research administrators. It is one system of a suite of research management systems that forms this Research Hub.

Researchers use the Research Portal to apply for grant funding; access information about awarded grants and contracts; record research outputs, prizes and other activities; and create CVs. The Research Portal allows our Researchers to showcase research impact and collaboration on the Macquarie Research Hub.

The Research Portal is being implemented across all areas involved in research within Macquarie University.  This page will be updated regularly with additional support content added during all implementation phases.

Macquarie’s new Research Portal is powered by Pure and will be implemented in staged phases. Publications are the first research output to go live on the new Portal. In the future, the Research Portal will showcase all research output. Research output types will be added to Pure in a phased approach throughout late 2017 and early 2018.

A complete rollout of Pure across the university is due for completion in 2018.
