Managing graduate researchers is an important role. It combines your skills as a researcher and teacher as well as your deep understanding of how the practise of research connects to the world beyond the campus.

  • Supervision Enhancement Program

    The Supervision Enhancement Program includes the mandatory HDRS Orientation Program and the HDRS Fellowship Program.

  • HDR Policy and Procedures

    HDR Supervision is closely governed by the MQ Policy and Procedures and related legislation and documents as noted on the policy.

    Although it is your candidate's responsibility to ensure they are adhering to all ethical and methodical requirements of data management, they may look to you for guidance.

    As a supervisor, you will collaborate with HDR candidates to develop candidature management planning strategies.

    Finding the right examiners for your candidate is a crucial part of being a supervisor.

  • Training support for candidates

    It is important that HDR Supervisors are aware of the support MQ provides for HDR candidates.
