| Aim | The purpose of the Macquarie University DVCR Discretionary Fund is to provide partial funding for research objectives that fall outside the guidelines of the usual internal funding schemes. Co-investment is expected and requests that include some contribution from the Faculty and/or Department are more likely to be successful. |
| Funding | Award of funding is entirely at the discretion of the DVCR. |
| Faculty Processes | The Faculties have their own approval and review processes for grants under this scheme. They may also have deadlines for submission of draft applications that are earlier than the Research Office deadlines. Please ensure that you contact your Faculty, as early as possible, for information on process and deadlines.
