Aim | The objectives of the ARC Linkage Projects scheme are to:
|
Funding | The minimum level of funding provided by the ARC under Linkage Projects is $50,000 per year of funding and the maximum is $300,000 per year of funding per Project, for each year of the Project. A Project may be applied for and awarded funding for a minimum of two to a maximum of five consecutive years. Partner Organisations (combined) are expected to provide funding, cash and in-kind, to at least match the amount requested from the ARC. The combined Partner Organisation cash contribution must be at least 25% of the ARC request. Some exemptions apply. |
Key Dates | Changes to Eligibility for DVCR Co-Funding Eligibility for the DVCR Co-Funding Scheme is now contingent upon on-time submission of grant applications by the date you select for your compliance and eligibility check in the booking calendar. Many applications for external funding require cash and in-kind contributions from the host institution in order to be considered for funding. In most cases, researchers request cash contributions, such as project support funds, funding for research associates, scholarships and major equipment, from the DVCR via the DVCR Co-Funding Scheme to support their external funding applications. To be eligible to request this DVCR Co-Funding, grant applications must be submitted internally, via Pure, by your compliance and eligibility check date.
For funding applied for in 2023: There will be two assessment rounds for applications for Linkage Projects for funding applied for in 2023. Draft applications will carry over in RMS between rounds (e.g. a draft application started during assessment Round 1 can be submitted in assessment Round 2 without the need to restart the application). Release of ARC Grant Guidelines: Wednesday 14 December 2022 Linkage Projects 2023 Assessment Round 1
Linkage Projects 2023 Assessment Round 2
For funding applied for in 2024: Linkage Projects 2024 Assessment Round 1
Linkage Projects 2024 Assessment Round 2
These are indicative dates from the ARC and are subject to change |
