Macquarie University Waterloo Road, Macquarie Park precinct - access for staff

Teaching and professional staff plus HDR students based at 44, 50 and 58 Waterloo Road and their visitors, plus Campus-based staff can travel between the two locations on our courtesy shuttle bus service. Please note the bus stops at 44 Waterloo Road only. See maps below:

Staff can see where their next ride to campus or Waterloo Road is, in real time, by checking the map below. (NOTE: Map does not show Safari web browsers). Before 8:05am, during lunch and after 1:50pm there will only be one bus operating.

Train

The Sydney Metro North West is now open.  With services running frequently you can just turn up and go for travel between Macquarie University and Macquarie Park stations.

Public Bus

Transport for NSW operates a regular bus service in both directions along Waterloo Road with the trip taking approximately four minutes. Routes: 197, 545, 611, 619, 621, 628, 651, 740, M41, M54.

Bus stops are located outside 44 Waterloo Road; at Macquarie University train station, University Avenue and Balaclava Road.
