Resources About Technologies in Learning and Teaching
iLearn
iLearn is Macquarie's new Learning Management System from semester 1 2012. The iLearn web site has a variety of resources to help staff. The best place to start is the Quick Guides page.
Blackboard
From semester 1 2012 learn.mq (Blackboard) was replaced by iLearn. Blackboard will still be used by MGSM until later in 2012, and is only available to other staff for file retrieval purposes. All other online units will be delivered through iLearn (see above).

- iLecture staff guidelines [PDF - 476k] These guidelines are based on the results of a national study on the impact of web-based lecture technologies such as iLecture on learning and teaching. They have been developed to explore some of the issues emerging from the study. Also see our iLecture student guidelines [PDF - 409k], showing students how to get the most out of Lecture Recordings.
