Space Planning

- The University actively plans for best possible use of our space resources and advice is available from our Space Planning Team.
- Requests for new space, change of usage to space, or re-allocation of space will be reviewed by the Space Planning Team
- Some examples of requests are:
- Whole floor refurbishments
- Minor refurbishments such as adding or removing walls
- Alternate workstation layouts in an office
- Laboratory refurbishments or upgrades
- Advice on teaching venues
- Change of use of an area
- Planning for new buildings & facilities

IMPORTANT INFO
All new requests involving Campus Planning will need prior approval and sign-off from the Dean of the Faculty or the Head of the Office. Non-approved requests will be redirected back to the original requestor
Process for New Requests
- Step 1: Document your request and discuss with the Dean of your Faculty or the Head of your Office to gain approval and sign-off
- Step 2: Fill in the Property Service Request online form
- Step 3: Property will review your request and a Campus Planning representative will contact you
